FRESNO, Calif. (KFSN) -- A large fire broke out at an east-central Fresno apartment complex Monday afternoon.
It started at a complex near Cedar and McKinley Avenues around 4 p.m. Firefighters called for three alarms, meaning additional resources are being called to battle the blaze.

Firefighters say four units were heavily damaged and over 16 people were displaced. The Red Cross is assisting those affected.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
