FRESNO, Calif. (KFSN) -- Cameron Ward was sentenced to two years in state prison for engaging in a sexual act with a Sunnyside High School student.

Ward was arrested back in April on several sex charges while working as a library technician at Malloch Elementary School in Northwest Fresno. He met two teenage girls at Sunnyside High School while serving as a swim coach there during the 2013-2014 school year and engaged in sexual activity with one of them.

A former Sunnyside student sued both Ward and the school district for allowing the inappropriate conduct to take place.
