Jesus Gonzalez, 32, was arrested Monday night in Southeast Fresno after police spotted a stolen Chevy Cruze in the area of Sierra Vista and Huntington.
Police said they watched as Gonzalez got in the car and drove it about a block where he was stopped and taken into custody.
Gonzalez also faces charges related to probation violation and possession of a meth pipe.
