The California Highway Patrol says it happened just before 9 pm near Highway 145 and Floral Avenue.
Officers say a Honda Accord rear-ended the tractor. Both were going south.
She was airlifted to Community Regional Medical Center with major injuries.
The driver of the tractor suffered minor injuries.
