FRESNO, Calif. (KFSN) -- Firefighters are investigating what caused flames to break out inside a home Tuesday night in Southwest Fresno.

The blaze began just before 8 p.m. at the home on Collins near Inyo.

Firefighters quickly knocked down the flames but the extent of smoke damage inside made the home unlivable.

When fire crews arrived, they found a woman who lives in the home, on the front porch but she was not injured.
