MADERA COUNTY, Calif. (KFSN) -- Authorities say the missing 21-year-old Madera man was found dead after going missing earlier this week.
Christopher Alvarez was located deceased by Madera County Sheriff's detectives the same day he was reported missing.

Detectives are investigating his cause of death and have not revealed any evidence indicating foul play was a factor.
Alvarez did not show up to work on Monday and family members say they last saw him at his home.

His car was later found by deputies his car abandoned near Highway 145 and Highway 41.
