'Meathead Movers' collecting relief donations for Northern California fire victims

FRESNO, Calif. (KFSN) -- The student-athlete moving company is collecting donations in Fresno County and San Luis Obispo. They will then move them to the Ryse Youth Center shelter in Richmond, California.

After delivering 50,000 pounds of community-donated goods to Hurricane Harvey victims last month, Meathead Movers hopes to take a similar load on Monday. Donations will be accepted between Thursday, October 12 to Sunday, October 15 at 6 p.m.

Ryse Youth Center shelter is requesting the following new items:

Face masks
Filter
Hygiene products
Tooth paste/tooth brushes
Toiletries

Hand sanitize
Deodorant
Adult and child diapers
Socks
Underwear
Gift cards

All donated goods can be dropped off in the lobby of:

Fresno County, Meathead Movers Mini Storage
4744 North El Capitan Avenue, west of Shaw and Brawley

SLO, Meathead Movers Mini Storage
3600 South Higuera Street near Granada Drive.
