It happened just after 5:30 am on Highway 152 at Turner Island Road in Dos Palos.

The California Highway Patrol says the man failed to stop at a stop sign on Turner Island and crossed into both lanes of Highway 152.
His vehicle t-boned an oncoming Honda, with a 38-year-old woman and a 12-year-old child inside.
The man died at the scene.

The woman and child were taken to a hospital with minor injuries.
Officials say everyone was wearing their seatbelts.
They don't believe drugs or alcohol were involved in the crash.
