FRESNO, Calif. (KFSN) -- Sequoia National Park officials are asking for the public's help with information regarding the whereabouts of 41-year-old Vince Scalise.

Scalise is from Phoenix and was hiking in the Sequoia National Park when he didn't return from his scheduled trip on Wednesday. He was reported to be walking up the Middle Fork Trailhead and was expected to arrive at Panther Creek.

Search and rescue crews were launched Sunday but bad weather has made it tough to access the trails.

If you come in contact with Scalise, you're asked to call the park service.
