FRESNO, Calif. (KFSN) -- The Merced County Sheriff's Office said they are investigating a suspicious death after a man's body was found on the side of a road near Atwater.
The Sheriff's office said just before midnight on Wednesday, they received a call of a body on the side of the road near Avenue One and Gurr Road -- south of Castle Airport.

Investigators have not said how the man died and they do not have any suspects at this point.
