Officials said they are working to rescue 9 people pinned inside 3 cars in Fresno County

Cal Fire and Fresno County Fire are working at the scene of a traffic collision, where several people were pinned into their vehicles.

The incident happened near Kings Canyon Road and Alta Avenue in Reedley.

Authorities say one car swerved while going eastbound on Highway 180 before colliding head-on with another car.

CHP tells Action News one of those cars rolled over during the collision.

Seven people were taken to a hospital in Reedley and are being treated for minor injuries.
