FRESNO, Calif. - Officers arrested Quantine Dunbar after speaking with several neighbors in the area of Tulare and Pottle Avenue.
Officers went to Dunbar's home in Southwest Fresno and went inside with his consent.
Dunbar told officers he had a handgun in his bedroom. He told officers he had the firearm to use against rival gang members.
He was taken into custody and booked into the Fresno County Jail on various firearm-related charges.
With this arrest, the total amount of handguns recovered by Fresno police officers this year is 26, compared to six this time last year.
