Investigators say the two men got into a fight by a gas pump at the Chevron on Olive just off Highway 99.
The suspect was gone by the time police arrived. Detectives, however, are hoping surveillance video will help track him down.
Fresno police say the man who was stabbed was treated at the hospital and is now home recovering.
