Lt. Gov Gavin Newsom makes Fresno stop in governor's race

FRESNO, Calif. (KFSN) -- This President's Day weekend, California's Lieutenant Governor Gavin Newsom is traveling across the state hosting campaign town halls.

Saturday, he made a stop in the Central Valley. The campaign is called Courage for a Change Tour, it's part of Newsom's run for governor.

As a part of his Courage for a Change Tour, Newsom is also visiting Stockton, Los Angeles and Orange County and several other cities in the state.

Newsom says he hopes to make changes on issues including marriage equality, universal health care, and gun safety measures.
