Police say the crash happened just before 8 p.m. Wednesday on Demaree Street and Houston Avenue.
When officers arrived, they found four cars involved, with one car extinguished by firefighters.
Investigators say the driver of the car that caught fire was pronounced dead at the scene.
Their identity has not been revealed at this time.
The investigation is ongoing.
