The California Highway Patrol responded just before 5 pm Friday to the area of Highway 43 and Lansing Avenue -- just south of Hanford.
Officials say the driver of the truck was headed south on Highway 43 as the motorcyclist and a female passenger were traveling northbound.
For reasons still under investigation, the driver traveled into the northbound lane, colliding head-on with the motorcycle.
The male drive of the motorcycle, 65-year-old Kenny Conley, was pronounced dead on the scene and the female passenger, 65-year-old Leslie Conley, was taken to the hospital, where she died.
The driver of the truck was also taken to the hospital with major injuries.
The crash remains under investigation. It is unknown of alcohol or drugs are factors in the crash.
