2 men stabbed during family gathering in southeast Fresno, police say

FRESNO, Calif. (KFSN) -- Two men are recovering after a stabbing during a family gathering in southeast Fresno.

Police say they were called to the area of Kings Canyon near Peach just after midnight for a family disturbance.

When officers arrived, they found two people who had been stabbed in separate locations after walking away from the scene.

One man was stabbed in the arm, while the other was stabbed in the neck area.

Both were taken to Community Regional Medical Center to be treated.



Police say everyone involved has been detained and is cooperating.

Detectives were on scene for several hours Tuesday morning investigating.
