Fire crews responded Monday morning to a home on Opal Court near Sapphire Drive.
Firefighters were quickly able to contain the blaze and prevent it from spreading throughout the house.
Officials say the fire started because of an unattended candle.
Three people and several pets are now displaced.
Fire officials want to remind you to keep flammable objects away from candles.
