The 34th Central Valley Honor Flight landed Wednesday night after three days in Washington, D.C., where the heroes toured the war memorials dedicated to their service.
The cheering crowd gave the 69 veterans the homecoming they deserve.
Before they boarded the return flight, the veterans visited Arlington National Cemetery Wednesday morning.
Action News Anchor Warren Armstrong and Action News photographer Richard Harmelink also returned on the flight after bringing us incredible reports of the trip.
Groups of school children formed a tunnel, cheering, applauding and thanking the veterans for their service.
