FRESNO, Calif. (KFSN) -- The California Department of Alcoholic Beverage Control announced that they are awarding $3 million to 43 local law agencies across California.
This funding will help battle crimes involving alcohol, mainly on reducing the number of alcohol sales to minors.
The Clovis, Kingsburg, Los Banos, and Merced police departments will get a share of the nearly $3 million from the "Alcohol Policing Partnership Program" grant.
The APP Program was created in 1995 and, since then, has distributed more than $75 million to local law enforcement.
