Gloria Salas passed away on April 18. She was first diagnosed with cancer at the age of 2 and relapsed last year at the age of 4.
Action News previously featured Gloria and her family during last year's Pint for a Pint blood drive, highlighting their efforts to raise awareness about the need for blood donations.

Her parents said they became aware of the shortage while taking Gloria to medical appointments, when blood was not always available for her treatment.
In response, the family began advocating for blood donations and hosted their own blood drive at Valley Children's Hospital in December.
The family is now raising money to help cover funeral expenses. If you'd like to donate, click here.
