Four-year-old Emerson Palasio is one of nearly 40 children invited to Disneyland for an event called "Wishes Assemble."
All of these kids have bravely battled critical illnesses, including Emerson, who is currently in remission from leukemia.
On Wednesday, the children had a chance to be Avengers recruits and meet some Marvel superheroes. Emerson also attended a drawing class and learned how to sketch "Spiderman."
Action News spoke with the four-year-old's family at their home in Lemoore before the trip.

Emerson's parents say he's had some 70 hospital visits since being diagnosed with leukemia last year.
They were grateful for the opportunity to make new memories together at the Happiest Place on Earth.
Disney's goal during this special week is to make as many children's dreams come true as possible, with the help of the Make-A-Wish organization.
Disney is the parent company of ABC30.
