FRESNO COUNTY, Calif. (KFSN) -- A man has died after his semi-truck rolled over on Interstate 5 in Fresno County on Friday night.
The California Highway Patrol says just after 10:30 p.m., a 62-year-old Manteca man was driving north of Avenal Cutoff Road near Lassen Avenue when his semi-truck veered into the left lane and into the center median.
The semi hit the cable barriers, causing the truck to roll over onto its side. At some point during the rollover, the driver was ejected.
He had major injuries to his head and died at the scene.
The victim's name has not been released.
