For over a century, the fair has welcomed thousands.
"This is a place to celebrate and enjoy and have a good time, see friends, buddies, pals and enjoy and embrace the community," says fair entertainer, Dennis Forel.
For many, it's the food that keeps them coming back.
"They're really crunchy and good, I like the cheese on top," says fair visitor, Monique Roman.
An added bonus, the fair provides jobs and gives local businesses the opportunity to showcase their products in front of visitors.
Helping boost the local economy and people's mood through their various activities..
"We are throwing our biggest fair party ever over here. We will have two really high-quality regional bands here, one with country music, then one that will play pop, rock, country and maybe even a little bit of rap in there," explains Payton Ryan, with the Tulare County Fairgrounds.
Among the fun, it's also all hands on deck for the Tulare Police Department.
It partners with other agencies, including the Tulare County Sheriff's Office.
Dozens of officers from other police departments such as Visalia, Farmersville, Lindsay, Dinuba will also be present.
"They will be familiar with families and individuals that sometimes cause issues in their city so that is why we partner with other agencies so they can come out to make this place as safe as possible," explains Sgt. Lorena Lopez with the Tulare Police Department.
Safety and a good time are top of mind for police and organizers, who are excited for people to see what's new this year.
"We got some new drinks this year, perfect for our Saturday party. I am standing in front of Sharkies here, we all know and love sharkee's fish fry. We got pretzels, corndogs, ice cream, and cookies. We have all the things," mentions Payton.
