FRESNO, Calif. (KFSN) -- With kickoff for the Fresno State Bulldogs just over a month away, the university is getting ready to step up their game day experiences.

Athletics Director Garrett Klassy teased during Monday's media day that major upgrades will be coming to Fresno State football's Bulldog BLVD.

The free festival holds live music before every game, along with family fun and more entertainment.

Klassy says he hopes the changes will make the biggest party in the Valley even better.

"The one thing I hope the Red Wave recognizes is the investment into the fan experience this year. Obviously, they all care about a winning football program more but we've built this as the biggest party in the Valley for a long time," Klassy said. " This is going to the biggest party in the Valley, on steroids, this year. We're really excited on what we're investing into the fan experience this year and what we're investing in the football program. Hopefully, those two worlds collide and we have a special season."

While Klassy did not go into details about the upgrades, fans will get to see them first hand when the Bulldogs play their first home game against Sacramento State on September 12.
