Tumey Fire grows to 537 acres, 0% containment in Fresno County

FRESNO COUNTY, Calif. (KFSN) -- CAL FIRE is responding to a wildfire west of Interstate 5 near the Panoche Hills South Wilderness Study Area in Fresno County.

According to the CAL FIRE website, the Tumey Fire has grown to 537 acres with 0% containment.

The Tumey Gun Range was evacuated by the Fresno Sheriff's Department and the Tumey Recreational Area is closed.

I-5 is still open to drivers.

The cause of the fire is under investigation.
