North Fire fully contained after burning 67 acres in Fresno County, CAL FIRE says

FRESNO COUNTY, Calif. (KFSN) -- CAL FIRE says the North Fire in Fresno County is fully contained after spreading to 67 acres Tuesday afternoon.

The fire began around 2 p.m. near North and Temperance avenues.

The wind posed a challenge for fire crews as they tried to contain the fire.

Fresno County Sheriff's deputies evacuated people from their homes that were in the area of the fire. No structures were burned.



Officials are investigating the cause of the fire.
