The crash happened on Santa Fe Drive near Wallace Road. Video shared by ABC30 Insider Eddie Gonzalez shows the sedan perched on the roof of the shed after what investigators describe as a highspeed attempt to pass another vehicle.
Police say the driver lost control, hit an embankment, broke through a chainlink fence and went into the air before striking a parked car and coming to rest on the shed.
Action News visited the scene on Monday to view the wreckage.
A neighbor said emergency crews pulled a woman from the shed, but a man remained pinned inside.
The witness later explained that "the man and woman were inside and the car fell in headfirst and it hit the young man in his chest." He said the man was yelling for help as first responders worked urgently to free him.
When they finally pulled him out, the neighbor said, he appeared to be in "pretty rough shape."
Police say one person inside the shed was taken to the hospital, along with the driver of the sedan.
Their conditions have not been released.
