Making cancer treatment in the region more accessible and easier to patients.
"Ninety percent of all cancers are easily treated here in the Valley, and all of them are ones that we treat here at cCare," says cCare Medical Group President, Dr. Jedidiah Monson.
Over the years, cCare has continued to grow, bringing in doctors with different expertise.
"We've added specialties," Dr. Monson said. "We now have two breast surgeons and a gynecologist, a surgeon for gynecological malignancies.
This summer, cCare partnered with California Urology and Central Valley Medical & Women's Imaging.
It's a collaboration that's been years in the making.
"They've referred patients to us through the years and over time, we realized there was a lot of synergy," Dr. Monson said. "It made a lot of sense if we came together and formed one group."
The new partnership brings in six urologists, as well as three advanced practice providers.
Dr. Monson says the partnerships help provide an in-house network for patients and eases anxieties in their treatment journey.
"It's reassuring for the patients to know that their doctors are all on the same team, on the same network, in the same system, and there's a lot less margin for error," Dr. Monson said. "Communication is a lot faster."
Not only does this put care under one roof, but Dr. Monson says it will also improve the overall patient experience.
"We can develop patterns of care and standards of practice together so that there's less confusion," Dr. Monson said.
