Central Valley dancers showcase bhangra during AAPI Heritage Month

FRESNO, Calif. (KFSN) -- In celebration of Asian American and Pacific Islander Heritage Month, local dancers demonstrated a centuries-old art form.

Bhangra originated in the Punjab region of India and Pakistan but has grown into a global sensation.

Dancers now mix in some hip-hop and EDM, drawing in younger generations.
