Central Valley Honor Flight's October trip in jeopardy, in need of donations

Updated 2 hours ago
FRESNO, Calif. (KFSN) -- Nearly 2,300 veterans from our community have flown to Washington, D.C., to view the memorials built in honor of their service and sacrifice.

That trip of a lifetime is free of charge-- and made possible thanks to the Central Valley Honor Flight.

Now, the non-profit needs your help. Flight 36, which is set to take off in October, is in jeopardy and in need of donations to make it happen.

Central Valley Honor Flight founder Paul Loeffler and donor Sieg Fischer joined us to discuss the experience and how we can contribute.

If you would like to donate, you can visit their website or head to the Freedom Run in Woodward Park on July 4.
