'Cristela' is your new favorite working-woman comedy

It's becoming more and more common for millennials to move in with their parents or family while pursuing their career or academic goals. Many 20 and 30-somethings may find this situation bleak, but ABC's new sitcom Cristela puts a fresh, funny take on the younger bunch still trying to find their way in the world while dealing with family conflicts.

Starring Cristela Alonzo, Cristela tells the story of the sixth-year law student just on the brink of landing her first big (unpaid) internship at a prestigious law firm. But Cristela's Mexican-American family isn't too supportive of her career ambitions and think her place is in the home. It's up to Cristela to climb the legal ladder and win her family's support without driving them, and herself, completely crazy.
