FRESNO, Calif. (KFSN) -- Next week, 69 of our hometown Heroes will be flying to Washington, D.C., to see the memorials built in honor of their service and sacrifice.
The Central Valley Honor Flight takes off Monday and will feature veterans from 26 different hometowns here in Central California, including several Purple Heart recipients and two Silver Star honorees.
Central Valley Honor Flight's Paul Loeffler and US Air Force veteran Bonnie Waters joined us to discuss the experience and a special welcome home ceremony.
