BASS LAKE, Calif. (KFSN) -- Evacuation advisories for nearby Bass Lake communities have been lifted after a fire broke out on Tuesday afternoon.

Authorities say the fire started on a hillside near Marina View Drive and Road 274. Evacuation advisories were issued for the areas of Marina View and South Graham Meadow.
Fawn Point Lane at Road 274 and Road 274 at Marina View will remain closed as crews continue working in the area.
A time-lapse video from the scene shows air tankers dropping red fire retardant to slow the fire's spread, producing thick smoke.
