Multiple vehicles at Clawson Honda damaged in Northeast Fresno fire, officials say

FRESNO, Calif. (KFSN) -- Firefighters battled a large fire near Sierra and Blackstone avenues in Northeast Fresno on Monday evening, officials said.

Several vehicles at Clawson Honda and a large eucalyptus tree caught fire, threatening the nearby Sierra Meadows Apartments.

Fire crews were able to stop the flames from spreading to the apartment complex.

Multiple vehicles at the dealership were damaged. The apartments were not damaged and no residents were displaced.

Initially, officials said the fire originated in the apartments but it was later confirmed to have started at the dealership.



The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
