Foodlink Tulare County's 'Fueling the Future' event aims to fight student hunger

TULARE COUNTY, Calif. (KFSN) -- A local organization has been fighting food insecurity in Tulare County since 1978.

Foodlink of Tulare County is hosting a fundraiser and silent auction next week to support its program that provides weekend meals to students.

They joined Action News in the studio to share the impact of their work and how you can help.

Tickets are still available for the "Fueling the Future" fundraiser and silent auction.

The enchanting garden-inspired evening is taking place on August 8 from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m.



There will be a magician, tarot card readings, music, food and drinks and vendors.

It will be held at the Foodlink Tulare County building off Second Street and Firebaugh Avenue in Exeter.
