VISALIA, Calif. (KFSN) -- A former Visalia Unified employee has learned his punishment for sexually abusing two 15-year-old girls.

40-year-old Dejaun Jones was sentenced on Wednesday to five years in prison for lewd acts with teens.

Jones worked at Mount Whitney High School as a campus supervisor.

Prosecutors say his illegal behavior began in 2022.

In 2023, he was accused of exchanging nude photos with a 15-year-old girl and touching her inappropriately.

Jones pleaded guilty to 11 felony charges back in May.

One of his victims was awarded an $8 million settlement for a sexual abuse case against the Visalia Unified School District.
