The event took place at Panzak Park, with festivities beginning at 8 a.m.
Organizers spent the past three weeks planning the gathering, which featured resources, services and entertainment for attendees.
Activities included face painting and a potluck-style lunch open to the community.
The lead organizer said the event was long overdue and aimed to celebrate the individuality of both young people and adults in Fowler.
"We followed what Fowler wants to say to the world -- we're a small town and we get together to support each other and this is how we do it. We do it with love; we do it with respect; and we do it with dignity," said Veronica Salmeron-Sosa, lead organizer of Fowler Pride.
The free, family-friendly event also partnered with local community colleges, including Fresno City College, Madera Community College and Reedley College, which provided information and support.
Community organizations, including the Wellbeing Group and Small Town of Fowler, also offered services to attendees.
