Fresno Chaffee Zoo names newly-born Malayan Tapir calf

FRESNO, Calif. (KFSN) -- The Fresno Chaffee Zoo announced an official name to their newest and cutest member of the family!

A Malayan Tapir calf was born in July, and the zoo wanted the community to choose between three names.

After 4,000 of votes were sent in, the calf has officially been named Winston.

Winston is the first Malayan Tapir Calf to be born at Fresno Chaffee Zoo.

For now, Winston and his parents are Ulan and William will continue to bond behind the scenes.
