According to the Fresno Police Department, two deputies were parked at the Fresno Traffic Court when they saw a white sedan speeding north on M Street in the opposite direction of the one-way street.
The deputies followed the sedan and attempted to make a traffic stop.
The white vehicle did not stop, and at the intersection of M and Stanislaus, the patrol vehicle collided with the FAX bus.
The Fresno County Sheriff's Office says seven people on the bus, including the bus driver, were taken to the hospital but did not appear to have any injuries. Both deputies also had minor injuries and were taken to the hospital.
The sedan managed to escape. Law enforcement is reviewing surveillance footage in the area to help locate and identify the suspect.
Fresno police are investigating the collision.
