Fresno gets first set of dedicated pickleball courts

Wednesday, July 9, 2025
FRESNO, Calif. (KFSN) -- Fresno residents are getting some good exercise at the city's newest pickleball courts.

City leaders gathered Wednesday morning for the grand opening at Rotary East Park off Cedar and Sierra in northeast Fresno.

The eight brand new courts include sports lighting for people to play day or night.

And they are the first courts in the Fresno City Parks and Recreation system dedicated solely to pickleball.

Right now, you can drop by and join a game but starting in August, you will need a reservation to play.
