Build-A-Bear posted a video on Instagram this week offering a glimpse of the new plush, which is modeled after the mythical Fresno Nightcrawler.
The legend of the Fresno Nightcrawler dates back to 2007, when a man said he captured the creature on video. Another video from 2011 showed two white figures with long legs walking around the foothills.
The Fresno Nightcrawler is considered a cryptid, an animal claimed but not proven to exist. Over the years, it has gained popularity alongside legends such as Bigfoot and the Loch Ness Monster.
The plush version features posable legs, white fur and a smiley face.
It costs $30 and is available exclusively online through the Build-A-Bear website as part of the company's seasonal Halloween collection.
The Fresno Nightcrawler is often described as a pair of "walking pants." In addition to the standard plush, Build-A-Bear is also selling a cowboy-themed version complete with pants and a hat.
