FRESNO, Calif. (KFSN) -- A known gang member is in custody Sunday after police found him armed during a traffic stop in Fresno.
Late last night, police pulled over 27-year-old Thomas Carrisales for a traffic violation.

When officers searched his car, they found him in possession of meth, a loaded shotgun and body armor.
Carrisales was taken into custody and booked at the Fresno County Jail.

He is now facing several weapon and drug charges.
