FRESNO, Calif. (KFSN) -- Officials are investigating a fire at Tulare Street and C Street in southwest Fresno.
The fire started before 4 a.m. on Friday morning. Crews were responding to a grass fire along Highway 99 and C Street, but they believe the grassfire sent embers into the air, which set the roof of the building on fire.

The owner thinks it the fire may have been sparked by homeless people. No one was inside.
Tulare is currently closed at C Street and is expected to be closed until at least 6 a.m. Friday morning.
