Deputies said they responded to Avenue 195 near Cairns Avenue around 6 p.m. Friday and found a man who suffered a fatal gunshot wound.
Investigators said the victim, identified as Juan Ochoa Ibarra, 34, of Plainview, and an unknown male were involved in an argument.
So far, no arrests have been made.
