MADERA, Calif. (KFSN) -- Madera police are seeking to fill officer openings with a big incentive.
Right now, the police department says it's hiring lateral police officers.
If hired, the department says it is offering a $35,000 hiring bonus to new officers.
They also advertise a competitive salary and benefits.
