OROSI, Calif. (KFSN) -- Tulare County authorities have arrested a suspect who they said robbed a bank at gunpoint Thursday. The incident happened at around noon at Bank of the West in Orosi.
The Tulare County Sheriff's Office said the suspect, 40-year-old Isidro Hernandez, demanded money from a teller while brandishing a handgun. They said he then ran away with an undisclosed amount of cash.

But not long after, Tulare County deputies found Hernandez outside of his house, just a few blocks away from the bank.
One witness, we spoke with said he saw the suspect run out of the bank and across a busy intersection.
"It's not so surprising, but it's always crazy. Small towns, it's always crazy to hear something like that happen," said Mark Gomez, witness.
