Man stabbed by girlfriend and assaulted by her relative in central Fresno, police say

FRESNO, Calif. (KFSN) -- An investigation is underway after police say a man was stabbed by his girlfriend and assaulted by her cousin in central Fresno.

It happened in the area of Palm and Robinson just before 3:30 am Monday.

Officers say the man was in a fight with his girlfriend when she stabbed him twice in the upper body.

Authorities say the woman's cousin also got involved and punched the man multiple times.

The suspects left the scene, and police are still searching for them.



The man was taken to the hospital and is expected to survive.
