The California Highway Patrol says a driver was speeding north on McCall Avenue when his Nissan drifted off the road. He overcorrected and crashed into a nearby vineyard, where it overturned multiple times.
The man was not wearing a seatbelt and was ejected from the car. He died at the scene from his injuries.
The man was the only person in the car at the time of the crash. No one else was injured.
The man has not been identified.
According to officers, the witness who called in the accident claimed the vehicle was being driven recklessly before the crash.
Officials are working to determine if the victim was driving under the influence.
