FRESNO, Calif. (KFSN) -- Merced police have arrested a shooting suspect.

They say Charles Miles fired at a victim near 18th and H streets on Thursday. They stopped the 20-year-old for a traffic violation Friday but say he ran from the car. Miles was caught a short time later and admitted to the shooting.
He's now booked into jail for attempted homicide, resisting arrest, and gang enhancements.
